Product Description
This product was used in my special needs 9th grade literature class. Before tackling Romeo and Juliet we spent a week analyzing the figurative language in Shakespeare's Sonnet 18.

This worksheet introduces students to the old English that makes Shakespeare's writing difficult to understand. After being introduced to the concept, students have opportunities to translate sentences that use similar language and sentence structure to Shakespeare. It also introduces the concept of figurative language.
