There are two books in this download.
The first is 11 pages long and practices the words This, is, and a.

The second book is 10 pages long and practices the words She, ate, and a.

2) Sequencing/Retelling pocket chart cards in TWO formats.

3) Sequencing/Retelling Cut & Paste or Carpet/Whole group activity.
Students will love cutting out the two longs strips of items that the old lady ate and gluing them together to make one big long list of things to stick into her mouth!
Or use the colored version for your whole group or carpet time!

4) Sequencing Cut/Paste Activity and Center Mats
Print out these fun sequencing mats and write the numbers 1-8 in the white boxes. One is a worksheet for students to cut and paste onto and the other is a colorful mat for you to laminate for your centers.

5) Posters & Corresponding Writing Activity
There are 10 There was an Old Lady who Swallowed some Leaves related word posters in this download. They include the following words:

Practices the words:
leaf, lady, pumpkin, shirt, pants, rope, pole, scarecrow, hay

The first activity is a set of black and white cut and paste sheets. Students use the dotted lines to cut out the vocab word, and then paste it back into the squares under the picture.

The second activity is a set of vocab building cards in color. You can cut and laminate the letters for each card so that students can place them in the correct squares to build the corresponding vocabulary word.
