Children love animals, and with the Old McDonald Animal Photos your students will develop language, participate in group activities and learn more about animals.

Each of the 20 animal card includes the animal name and the animal sound. All photos are taken in nature and show the animals in their natural habitats. The cards also work well in connection to science lessons and for ESL.

The 20 animal photo cards can be used time and time again for writing, oral language, descriptive language and to prompt creative thinking. The cards can be used with or without the Old McDonald song. They can also be with the Old McDonald class book.

As an animal lover myself, I love sharing the animals I've encountered with my students, and now you can too. We all know that animals inspire lots of excitement, now you can harness that excitement and turn it into oral language.

Included:

•Old McDonald Song

•Directions for use

Directions for use:

1.Print, laminate and cut out the 20 Animal Photo cards

2.Pass the cards out to your students. Allow them time to study the cards.

3.Then sing the old McDonald song. As you say each animal, ask the student holding that card to hold it up and say it’s sound.

4.You might also use the cards to focus on oral language, by asking the students to describe what they see.

5.The cards also work well to support language development in preschoolers and for ESL learners.

6.Ask your students to draw their farm animal and then create a class book.
