PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

"Old Music" Game is a fun twist on the traditional Old Maid card game. This is an opportunity for students to practice recognizing common music symbols and the appropriate name. Similar to Old Maid, it takes some luck. Symbols include notes, rests, things you see on a page of music, and basic expressive elements. This is just another way for students to become familiar with music notation in a fun way. Good for 2-5 players with an instruction sheet that is easy tells you how to play. The last one with the Music card loses!

Included in this product are 2 versions of the game. The easy version is matching symbol to symbol. (Don't worry, I put the name on these cards too!) The harder version is matching symbol to the name of the symbol. Besides the card sets, which you would need to copy, there is a key on how to play the game that you can easily attach to the envelope or baggy that you keep the deck of cards in.

Any way to sneak in learning is good by me! These are great for sub days, indoor recess, I've got laryngitis days, or those last few minutes of class.

You might want to include I Declare Music I, II, & III in your bag of tricks too!
