SPANISH-SPEAKING COUNTRIES TRIVIA GAME ($6.00)
All students have a chance to make an educated guess in this game where all 110 answers are names of countries where Spanish is an official language. Students are given a list of the Spanish-speaking countries. Questions are in English.

FIESTA DE SAN FERMÍN ($4.00)
Since the Fiesta de San Fermín takes place in July, use this for an end of year activity when your students, like the bulls, are ready to run!
Materials and Activities:
- a reading in English with key Spanish words and discussion questions
- a trivia game – 40 questions
- a student worksheet in English (20 questions over the reading)
- a Spanish worksheet over the San Fermín black and white visual
- a colorful San Fermín mini-poster (black and white version included)
- a jigsaw puzzle, just cut up the San Fermín mini-poster into 64 rectangles
- suggestions for internet materials, including songs, San Fermín information

SPANISH FUTURE TENSE – ESTE VERANO ($2.00)
Students and teacher circulate trying to find “yes” answers to questions about what they will do this summer, tomorrow or next week. Only two questions may be asked to each person. Students use the formal “usted” form when asking the teacher questions. When this activity is finished, teacher asks for oral feedback. After that, students fill out Written Worksheets for Este Verano. Both the simple future tense (infinitive + future endings) and the informal future tense (ir + infinitive) are included.

SPANISH END OF YEAR GAME – ¿QUÉ ES? ($4.00)
This fast-paced game makes a good end of year review for Spanish students. Each team has one minute to guess the list of six words in the target language. Clues may consist of several words or sentences. Clues can be given in English or Spanish. (You might require 2nd year Spanish students to give clues in Spanish.) Gestures can also be used to act out the word.
Below is a sample word list and some suggestions on clues.

EL ALFABETO Y EL ARMADILLO ($4.50)
Students complete their books by “scrapbooking” with their own choice of personal photos, colorful magazine pictures, computer images and some of their own drawings. In addition, students will enjoy writing about what interests them. It’s a keeper!
Includes: - a pronunciation guide for each letter of the alphabet
- an index listing vocabulary for each letter
- instruction sheets for teacher/students
The armadillo picture for letter “A” serves as the model for writing activities. It’s teacher’s choice of three of the six writing activities.
This project is a good end of year review of the alphabet along with some writing activities. It can also be used at the beginning of the year and included in your Spanish exploratory curriculum.

Time: Two 50 minute periods to select/put pictures in book and write vocabulary word for each letter, plus three 30 minute writing activities with oral feedback
