Introduce your students to the Easter traditions of Spain
with our mini book and theme pack! Focusing on traditional foods
eaten during Semana Santa, this is a great way to provide cultural content in the target language. Designed to highlight FOUR traditional desserts (la flor manchega (also known by other names), el bollo de Avilés, las torrijas, and la mona de Pascua), the activity pack includes mini posters of each food with it's key ingredients illustrated, and a short note about when it is eaten and the symbolism. PLEASE NOTE: there are many variations to the recipes and traditions surrounding these foods throughout Spain-I've included links for more information along with links to photos and videos you can show your students.
