In this activity, students read sample postcards from the Olympics. Each postcard features an element of figurative language. After identifying the element, students then complete a writing activity on the other side of the postcard. Some activities include revising sentences, changing similes into metaphors, and writing original sentences. Each sheet contains four different postcards.
