It took my forever to find a "target" to use as a visual for my students who have a difficulty not getting off track. I use this in small-group therapy. I laminated the sheet, and then I use a dry-erase marker to write their name, or first letter, or a symbol, as a way to show them they are off topic without interrupting the conversation. It is highly successful. At the end, the student who has "hit the target" the most earns a sticker.
