Instead of communicating verbally with all of my students, I use these cue cards to communicate with my students effectively and efficiently while they are working. I print them on colored paper and set them on student desks to show them what I see. While they are working, if their behavior changes, I change the cue card at their spot. At the end of the lesson, when the timer goes off, or at the end of the class period, I will award students who end on the "Excellent" card. It's been a great motivator for kids!
