This book focuses on how objects move. It introduces the words such as: force, motion, push and pull. Students will look at ways objects can be moved such as: bounce, slide and roll. Additionally, it helps students begin to think about directions in which objects can move: zigzag, straight, round and round. Lastly, students will see that the wind and water can move objects as well.
Each page includes at least one blank space for students to fill in. There is a Venn Diagram page for students to focus on push and pull. There are also separate pages where students can draw and write examples of push and pull. Use the combination that words best for your class.
I've found that my students find these books engaging, and they can lead to further questions and discussions.
This is much like my other fill-in-the-blank books on these topics:
, Animal Characteristics
, Human Body
