This activity from Jeux d’enfants involves sorting and categorizing different musical instruments. Based on the story of two whimsical characters, Bonbon and Doudou, students are invited to help these characters in figuring out which musical instruments belong in the same group.
Teachers can use the printables in many different ways, and we invite teachers to use their creativity. As a start, students can be asked to sort/categorize the instruments cars according to colour, size and types. Students can also be engaged in exploring the sounds of instruments, as well as their use and cultural value.
