Swat away that down time at the beginning or the end of class with these helpful and easy to teach “On the Fly Lessons” from TyBear Designs. Each lesson has a printable worksheet, as well as several fun ideas to adapt the lesson to best suit your needs! Please note that this will be an ongoing series of lessons that all teachers can have on hand for those "just in case" moments.
In this particular lesson, you receive my beginning of the school year 20 questions activity. Students can fill-out the sheet to make a fun bulletin board, or you can use the 20 question starters as a great advisory or beginning of class activity.
I can honestly attest that my middle school students LOVE these math activities...they don't even realize they are using basic skills! It's a great one to have on hand in time for the start of the year, or to serve as a team building activity in advisory/homeroom groups. The possibilities are endless! I have also used this activity for adult learners and in faculty workshops.
As always, if you have any questions, concerns, or ideas for improvement, please feel free to drop me a line! Thanks!
ALSO! Since I'm just starting out, please make sure to give me some feedback...it will help me perfect my products!
