On the Trail to Digital Citizenship: Recognize How to Use Information Responsibly, Ethically, and Legally is Lesson 5 in the 5-part program on information literacy and digital citizenship. Lesson 5 includes these topics: using school library computers & materials; gathering and sharing information; staying safe online; using print resources; and creating a bibliography. Lesson 5 includes informational slides, links to online resources, practices quizzes/exercises, and pre & post assessments. Lesson content centers around Kent State University’s TRAILS online assessment tool that can be used with this program to monitor student progress.
