In this creative booklet, students are walked through the process of writing a great personal narrative!
This writing assignment focuses on the five elements of a personal narrative (narrator, plot, tone, setting, and characters) and helps students create a three paragraph narrative that has a clear beginning, middle, and end. The booklet also features guides on using correct punctuation in a paragraph, specifically quotes, and shows students how to use quotes in their personal narratives to add dialogue.
Booklet includes writing assignment outline, rubric, graphic organizers, guide to using quotations, punctuation worksheet, an example narrative, and sentence structure outline for students to use before drafting.
