Storytelling Unit
A fun, creative, and hands on way for students to explore storytelling which is the foundation for all drama. Through a number of activities students will engage in creating stories and learn to appreciate storytelling as an art form. They will do activities that focus on the elements of a story: character, setting, and plot. Other activities include creating a shared story as a group, creating improvised stories, and recreating individual student’s experiences. The final activity has students working in groups to create tall tale performances for a grade.
