This product contains eight sets of three cards. One card represents the displacement function, one the velocity function, and one the acceleration function for a particle moving along a straight line in one dimension.
Cut them out, laminate them (or not, depending on time), and ask students to match up the graphs that describe the same particle.
A recommendation: Cut them out and paste them to colored construction paper, using one color for all of the displacement functions, one for all of the velocity functions, and one for all of the acceleration functions.
Another recommendation: Label the backs of those graphs that describe the same particle with the same letter so students can self-check their work.
This activity could be used in a Physics class or a Calculus class.
An answer key is not provided, but the graphs are arranged in order when first downloaded.
