Twenty days of fun writing journal prompts!
These are short activities to get students writing and to use as a springboard for more in-depth assignments. The activities push students to:
*** Use descriptive writing
*** Persuade others
*** Have fun with characters settings, and story lines
*** Organize their thoughts in nonfiction pieces.
I can see this being used in multiple ways. One is to staple the pages together to create a writing journal for each student in the class. They could also be glued down into notebooks so that the students could have extra room to expand on the prompts. I also see these being used in a writing center.
Each journal prompt is half a page, so these prompts are good for reluctant writers.
Look out for more of these in the future!
