My students love playing this adding and subtracting equation game which helps them to become more comfortable working with variables.
The equations are all one-step (adding and subtracting) and involve positive numbers only.
Both players roll one die. The player with the highest number selects any equation to solve. If correct, the player colors in that space (dollar bills).
If both players roll the same number, both roll again.
Only the player with the highest number takes a turn each round.
The player with the most “money” is the winner.
