This is a set of 12 scavenger hunt task cards asking students to solve one-step addition or subtraction equations with positive and negative numbers. I am also including a FREE storage envelope to help keep your cards organized for years to come.
This is a great way to get your kids out of their seats and moving around while collaborating about math. Students work the problems on a coordinating worksheet. Then, the hunt begins. Students must find their answer on another one of the task cards hanging around the room. That card contains their answer will be the next problem to solve. Students continue this process until they have worked all 12 problems and recorded them on the coordinating worksheet. This activity can be play individually, pairs, or in groups and is self-checking. Great for lower-level learners!
