This bundle includes 3 Math Centers for one step equations.
This bundle includes:
ADDING AND SUBTRACTING DOMINOES
This is a fun way for students to practice one step questions! There are 18 dominoes total. To use, cut them out and have students start with the "Start" domino. The dominoes will make a straight line until they get to the "End" domino. Students love to do these collaboratively and are great for review stations.
This activity has no negatives and only adding and subtracting one step equations. This product does include a student recording sheet.
I HAVE, WHO HAS
This game includes 30 equations cards with all operations.
This game is a fun way for students to practice skill drill. Cut the cards apart ( I like to laminate them so I can use them over and over) and give one to each student. If you have less than 30 students, some students will get two cards. The student with the "Start Card" read their card first. Everyone solves the equation and the student with the correct answer stands up and reads their card. This goes on until the "Last Card" is read.
For some extra fun, I time my students and do another round, I make them switch cards with someone in the class so they don't have the same answer again. Then they try to beat their score. I usually do this no more than 3 times.
ONE STEP EQUATIONS PUZZLE
This is a 25 piece self checking puzzle without any negative operations. It is a fun way for students to review mixed operations in equations. You can use this as a Math Center and has a owl themed version as well as a black and white version.
The puzzle serves as the answer key, so you will need to cut the pieces apart before you give it to the students.
Happy teaching! :)
