One Step Equations Cake Walk Review Game Activity

Looking for a fun way for students to practice solving one step equations? In this activity, students will get the opportunity to move around the room, practice solving one step equations, check their answers, and possibly win a prize! This product includes everything you would need for the Cake Walk activity: 32 one step equation sheets with answers on the back (equations include only positive whole numbers with all 4 operations), a student response sheet, and answer key. Equation sheets are spread in a circle around the room. Students walk around the circle as music plays and stop on a nearby equation when the music stops. Students solve the equation, showing their work, and check their answers. A number from 1-32 is called. If a student has that problem number and accurately shows their work and the correct answer, they win a prize! This is one of my students' favorite review games we play all year!

Not sure about the cake walk activity? These 32 equation sheets can be printed several to a page and made into task cards. Use the response sheet and task cards with any other activity you would use task cards for!
