This product can be used as a one-step equation review. It includes all operations, as well as word problems with only whole number solutions.
Students will work in pairs using dice. Students roll a pair of dice and solve two different equations. For example, if the pair rolls a 2 and a 3, one student solves the equation at (2,3) while the other student solves the equation at (3,2). The solutions should match. If they do not, the students will need to analyze each other's problems to find the error. When doubles are rolled, each partner writes and equation for the word problem and solves it, verifying that their solutions match.
I print these on cardstock and laminate them, using counters to mark when problems are completed. You could also copy these and let students use highlighters to mark out equations solved.
My students enjoyed this because it allowed them to work together to review. I liked to see them communicate and use error analysis when their solutions did not match.
