The following worksheet is a 5x5 magic square that consists of one-step equations. Students are required to use addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division to solve the equations. When completed, each row and column will add up to the number 65. I have found in my classroom that students are more motivated to complete magic squares over traditional worksheets because there is a final "solution" similar to Sudoku. Please check out my other algebra magic squares including multi-step equations, order of operations, and integer operations.
