What a great way to spend the summer--reading Bill Bryson's book "One Summer: America, 1927." This is one of the books my AP Language (and the AP U.S. History) students read. (But it doesn't have to be for AP nor does it have to be for the summer.) Included are activities, projects, and tests. Students love Bryson's writing style and how easy it is to learn so much American history from one book.
