Whether it’s the beginning of the year, the first day back after a break, or just a serious case of spring fever, sometimes your students needs to focus on their goals:
What do they want to accomplish?
What kind of people do they want to be?
How do they want to grow and change?
Based on the "One Word Project," ask your students to choose one word that represents their goal or what they want to become. Then, use the included resources to create a Rae Dunn inspired bulletin board that features your students and their word choices.
- The phrase "What is your one word?" to use as a chart-paper topper for brainstorming
- One mug template for students to write their words
- Two bulletin board phrases:
"My One Word"
"What Is Your One Word?"
- One mug template with a short explanation of the project
