This is goal-setting GOLD! When students select one single word to focus on all year, they are constantly reminded of how they want to embody their goal!
Here, students answer personal reflective questions about their goals and progress they have made. Students can either do this independently or in an interview format with peers. When they are done, they are challenged to think of a single word that embodies what they want to accomplish. Students love the simplicity of this activity and the personalized reflection they do.
Use with gifted education/GIEPs, special education/IEPs, benchmark testing, personal goal setting, beginning of the year, new year's resolution, beginning of a unit of study, whenever you want!
