These math journal prompts are created to use 4 days per week in the school year. They are broken into four categories; feelings about math, writing about facts, real life math and explain what you’ve learned.
You will find that some of the prompts are exactly alike. I have learned that this falls into the “working smarter” category. Some prompts will be different based on the content in them. For example, “Explain what you learned in math this week” will require different topics because students learn something different each week. I hope this makes sense and is useful to you. I like to use it in my math journal center but it can be incorporated in a variety of ways! Enjoy!
