This document is aligned to ELA CCSS and ISTE. It is designed to have middle school students create a list of goals for their future and present them to the class. It's a great "Back to School" activity to get to know the kids, and to get them acclimated with technology (you can even pick a particular platform if you want them to get familiar with it during the school year), and all the directions for each phase are included!
The topic could also be changed to "Celebrations" for an "End of Year" activity or to anything the teacher would like the presentation to be about because it is fully editable in Word.
BONUS! It is a two-for-one deal, though! Included is not just the document for teachers who use a traditional grading system (indicated in top right corner), but I have also included a standards-based grading (SBG) version (indicated in top right corner) for FREE! You can use either one or tweak either one to work for you! There are 4 pages (2 for each version) and they can both be printed front-to-back to make it just one easy page to give to students.
(select either pgs. 1-2 (traditional version) or 3-4 (SBG version)
PS...the preview formatting looks funky, but I promise it is perfectly formatted to fit directions and rubric on first page and rough draft on second page (same for both versions).
