Description

This short activity was created to accompany the book, Only One You, by Linda Kranz. It is a sweet story that encourages kids to embrace their uniqueness. Included in this download is a planning sheet for kids to list ways they are different (using the prompts I Am, I Have and I Can) and unique. A final draft writing page is also included, entitled I Am Unique. Finally, a fish template is included so that children can create their own special fish, which can be hung on a bulletin board with their writing. This is a great little activity to do that first day or first week of school to make all children feel welcome!
