Onset and Rime at, et, it, ot,ut. Laminate the sheets and let the children use whiteboard markers to write the word. The sheets can then be wiped and reused. Decoration is kept to a minimum as I create resources for use in my own class where low visual arousal is preferred.
We use the traffic light system to assess our work and put a red, amber or green circle when completed. This could also be adapted to draw a face to reflect assessment.
