This is a Ontario French curriculum reading assessment that I use with my students to assess reading comprehension. Students are given a short story to read and then are asked to identify key elements of the story. (Qui, Où, Comment, Quand, and Que). This story is about a hungry wolf who goes into the forest to find food. He hears something and it is a pig. He chases the pig but doesn't catch it. He is sad at the end because he is still hungry. This can also be used as a model to write a short story in French. Answer key provided and a blank template of the questions to be used with other short stories as well.
