This game reviews area, perimeter, linear measurement, and metric conversions. I will be creating jeopardy power point games to review all the strands so your job as a grade three teacher prepping for EQAO is so much easier!
These games do not seem to work on Macs. If you have a Mac, please do not buy this product.
To play the game, students split into four teams that will compete against one another to answer a assortment of questions and try to earn the highest score. As the teacher, you will act as the game show host by guiding students through all of the questions in this exciting PowerPoint game and keep score. When you get the correct answer, check it on the screen, then click YOUR team's contestant to be awarded the points! Go to the scoreboard to see all the contestants and their scores! Just like the REAL game.

IMPORTANT: The version with macros has distinctive features that allow you to keep score within the presentation itself and to reset both the scores and the game board. However, that version is only guaranteed to work on Windows computers.
To use this game show, you MUST enable macros on your computer. This lesson includes step by step directions on how to enable macros. I included screen shots. You do NOT have to be a techie to do this! It's super simple! Just follow the pictures. The PowerPoint will pop right up in SHOW mode..

If you have a smart board or any other type of interactive whiteboard, you can also use the projection from those and just use the interactive portion without having to convert the file to whatever it is you use! If you're able to "play" a regular PowerPoint, you should be able to play this one too!
