    Bundle Description

    This Grade 1 - 8 Ontario Health resource Bundle has been updated to include the prescribed changes in the health curriculum. As well, this Bundle still includes the original 2015 content.

    The only updated section, to date, by the PC government, Ministry of Education, is the Growth and Development (1998)(This topic is replacing the “Human Development and Sexual Health” topic).

    Use these Ontario Healthy Living Curriculum resources as a starting point and expand as necessary, or to quickly cover an expectation.

    This resource covers the Healthy Living section, Part C in The Ontario Ministry of Education, Health and Physical Education Ontario Curriculum Document.

    Created to facilitate the task of teaching the many required expectations in the Healthy Living section.

    The Healthy Living section is divided into four topics. Within each topic there are a number of expectations. To make this resource teacher friendly, we have colour coded each topic title and frame. These colours then repeat themselves on the specific page. Copies for students could be printed in black and white to save colour ink.

    The pages have not been numbered so that you have the freedom of picking and choosing the order you wish to use.

    The suggested delivery method would be to make copies for each of your students of the topic sheet that you would like to work on. Read the lesson information at the top of each sheet to initiate discussion. Once discussion has taken place, instruct the students to work on the follow-up activity.

    However, you are the teacher, you know your students best. Use your expertise to decide how you would like to deliver the material in this resource.
