You know how crazy Open House, Back to School, or the first day can be? Kids and parents arrive with all their supplies in hand and where in the world do you put all that stuff?
I have found this to be the BEST way to manage the chaos! I am sure it will work for you too.
1. Print out the category label sheets.
2. Glue them to the outside of large paper grocery bags, cardboard boxes, or plastic tubs.
3. When the kids and/or parents arrive, have them do the sorting! This is a great ice breaker and
fun activity, especially for nervous parents and kids. It’s also great for English Language
Learners! Now you are ready to store your supplies and get busy getting to know your kids!
