Get to Know Your Students & Parents By Setting Your Classroom Up Right With This Open House Set!
Each open house activity includes various prep, it may include printed sign-up sheets and student sheets on regular copy paper and printing stations and classroom book cover on cardstock. You will need to see how you would like to set up your classroom for the station to work for you and your open house.

Open House “Welcome to Our Class” Sign-up Sheets (editable version available):
Copy one sheet with colored ink. Have parents sign their child in on the sign-up sheet so you have record of who came to Open House. Depending on the number of students you have in your class, two sheets have been provided. One sheet has spaces 1-25, the second sheet has spaces 26-50.
Open House Station Cards : 8 Station Cards: 2 Different Styles: (editable versions available):
Print signs on cardstock, cut and laminate. Place signs in individual picture holder stands and place them around your classroom where you would like to place each station for parents and students to visit, You will have to set up each station with materials needed ahead of time. When students complete all stations they come back to you for a prize. This could be something that deals with the theme of your classroom or a new pencil.
Open House Student Station Sheet: 2 Different Versions: (editable version available):
Copy one sheet for each student in your class. Have parents take a sheet to begin their Open House stations after signing their child in for Open House.
“All About Me” Classroom Book: 3 Different Versions:
Use this “All About Me” page at your Open House. Set one sheet on each of the students' desk and have parents help their child write out their answers to their favorite things and then color the page. (You could certainly use this page at anytime during the first days of school). Collect this page from the students before they leave or during the class period. Put these sheets between the cover you have chosen and the plain piece of card stock for the front and back of your first classroom book. You can staple or bind the pages together to make the book.
“All About Me” Activity:
On the first days of school,, when all students have completed their page, have students read out their answers as a ‘Get to Know You” activity during carpet time. You can do few each day the 1st week of school., most kids just love talking about themselves!
Transportation Sign-up Sheet:
Copy one sheet of this form with colored ink and place at the Transportation Station. Have parents write down their child’s name and how he/she will be getting home from school during the year.
Parent Helpers Sign-up Sheets (editable version available):
Copy one sheet for each student and place at the Classroom Help Station. Have parents sign up for helping in the classroom and at home. (You may want to put this in student’s packet too.)
Classroom Party Sign-up Sheet:
Copy one sheet with colored ink and place at the Classroom Help Station. Have parents sigh up to help with classroom parties.
You can take individual pictures of your new students at a designated spot in our classroom. If you can have a student teacher or a volunteer to take the pictures for you. You can use these photos for a variety of activities throughout the school year.
