Practice math skills with this digital classroom breakout. Students will work to unlock four codes by solving fraction problems with all operations, three-digit by three-digit whole number multiplication, and division problems with two-digit divisors and four-digit dividends. This activity is aligned with fifth grade math standards and will take 45-60 minutes.
This product is simple to use, but please be aware that you will need three things to use this product:
1. You need to have access to Google Sites at your school. Your students will not be asked to leave the Open the Present Digital Breakout site which is housed on the new Google Sites. There is a timer from youtube on the site. All activities will direct your students to make a copy of a Google slide document. This means that each device will need to have someone signed in on their Google account. Your students will need to click on ALLOW to proceed.
2. You need to have one device for every three to four students. This product works on a desktop, laptop, or Chromebook.
3. You need to have a treat (food, pencils, homework pass, etc.) for every student, plus a few extras. Put your treat into a wrapped package.
Included in this product is a link to the Open the Present Digital Breakout site and answer keys for all the locks.
