Opening and running a restaurant relies on all of the math skills from 2nd grade. This project requires students to work together to create a menu, take orders, and track how much money they earned. This project allows students to see the connection between the math they are learning in the classroom and how it will help them once they leave.
This product is the group guide. Students work together to create their restaurant using each skill in a guided structure. Each day, students focus on a different element of the restaurant process. Students build their math skills as well as their ability to work in a group successfully.
