Product Description
Many students visited aquarium, but have they ever thought about creating and running their own? Operate an Aquarium gives students the chance to manage an aquarium picking the all the animals, designing exhibits, choosing supplies, and applying a variety of academics skills to do so.

Operate An Aquarium integrates elements of research, planning, math, and ELA skills as students design, create, and operate an aquarium. At the end of this PBL students will have applied a variety of the skills needed to run and manage their town’s aquarium through various activities including planning, budgeting, designing exhibits, and key decision making.

Students may need to have access to a variety of resources to complete this PBL. This could include maps, internet access, and laptops/computers/devices.

Over 20 activities included (most are 1 page each) for students to complete. Each page involves an issue or topic they must solve, design, create, or research.

As students work through each page, they will make their own decisions and choose the outcomes based on information they learn. By the end, all students will have completed the project, but each version will be based on the creator’s imagination, creativity, and knowledge base.
