Group project in which students research a country in need of UN assistance and create a powerpoint presentation. Originally used in an English/World History Block course, but can be used in World History class.
Students will need to apply persuasive techniques in their presentation and include: warrant, claim, evidence, and directive. All terms are defined and explained for students.
Teachers may also require students to use the tools of foreign policy in their pleas for assistance from the UN. (see separate lesson: Tools of Foreign Policy)
