Product Description
Thanksgiving week is a short week for many of us and that's a perfect time to keep your students' minds engaged with a some fun activities!

This Operation: Let's Plan Thanksgiving set includes 3 activities that will be a perfect addition to your classroom this Thanksgiving.

What's Included?

1. Plan Thanksgiving Dinner
Students will create a menu for their Thanksgiving feast, but they will need to go shopping first. 4 grocery store ads are included with variations in the costs of items and expectation of how the ads are utilized. All include amounts over $1.00. Some ads specify how much each serving of the item will serve. These variations of Trader Tom's Grocery Store Ad make it easy to find the one perfect for your class and/or differentiate based on student needs within your classroom.

Expectations for "ordering/purchasing" are also differentiated. Order forms require students to plan a meal with a budget, without a budget, plan for a certain number of people, and plan for Lucy and Franklin's family.

2. Can Lucy and Franklin buy...?
Students will help Franklin and Lucy decide if they have enough money to buy specified items as well as search for items that Lucy and Franklin have the exact amount of money to buy. All task cards include US Dollars and Coins.
Answer key included

3. Where Should Everyone Sit?
This inferencing activity will have students read task cards with descriptions and determine where each member in Lucy and Franklin's family should sit. A color Thanksgiving table is provided as well as small character cards for students to use as "manipulatives" when they are figuring out where each character should sit.
