Revised and Expanded for 2016: This is a vocabulary building, reading comprehension and argument analysis worksheet that corresponds with the Smithsonian/ BBC's Operation Stonehenge videos. Over 90% of the questions do not require viewing the movie, as the worksheet itself supplies significant portions of the transcript.
These worksheets highlight some of the key ideas of the videos and incorporate Common Core Literacy Standards including recognizing the claims and evidence that support scholarly theories.
These worksheets work well as in class activities (individual or group work) or can be assigned as homework after viewing.
The Operation Stonehenge videos are currently available on Vimeo in HD at https://vimeo.com/109713882.
Bonus: Also included is a PowerPoint with built in Turning Technology student response system questions. It is a review of some of the more important questions that highlighted from part 2.
