Choosing the strategy needed to solve 1 and 2 step multiplication and division problems is hard, but this week long unit can help!
5 Daily Lessons written to address TEKS 3.4K and 3.5B. These lessons work best in small groups so you can instantly see where the difficulties are occurring, but can be done whole group if needed. Manipulatives are included for students to build arrays, strip diagrams, grouping and more! Interactive notebook pages are included- anchor charts 10 problems for sorting and pockets. Independent practice during the small group followed by an exit ticket will give you feedback for student understanding.
Use the 20 multiple choice task cards to practice solving 1 and 2 step problems. A student answer sheet for students to record their answers is included along with QR codes on each card for self-checking. These task cards are perfect for test prep and will work well at Guided Math centers, BUILD, Daily 3 Math stations, for partner work, or with the whole class games- 4 ideas included. Use them with PLICKERS to assess the class!
These cards will look best in color, but will also print out fine in black and white. Simply print and cut along the guidelines. Laminate and use them again and again. Alternatively, you could print black and white cards on cardstock. Keep them in a baggie or whole punch and put on a ring
