As my 7th graders began the unit on Operations with Rational Numbers, I found that they were really struggling to remember all of the different rules for integers, fractions, and decimals! They just kept forgetting the little things, like when to line up the decimal places or when to find a common denominator, etc., so I created this little foldable as a study tool for my students to quickly remember all of the different rules for rational numbers. It was great to see students pulling this out day after day to help them finish their assignments. I hope your students will get the same benefits from this product!
This file includes two versions of the foldable. There is a blank template (which I use in my classroom) so that the students have to fill in all of the information on their own. You can also use the blank version if you would like to customize the wording for the needs of your students. The second version of the foldable already has the information that I have my students write inside the foldable. This is a great option to print out for absent students so that they will be able to quickly have the same information as the other students. The file also includes teacher directions, student directions, and step-by-step pictures for your reference.
