I used this page with my unit on opinion writing. Each student had a pro /con article about the topic and decided which side of the argument to support. I printed several different resources on either side of the argument and put them in baggies. Each table group had a bag of resources. The students could also find additional resources on their own. They had to determine which articles supported their opinion and which facts were important enough to write down. I am using this as an introduction to bibliographies and citing resources. I used this with my Opinion Writing Graphic Organizer, which is also available in my store.
