Description

Meeting Core Standards for Opinion Writing
I love opinion writing! This writing project was a blast with my class. They loved showing off the final product (many were motivated to finish on time so that they could decorate & personalize their covers) and they also got a sense of the process that good writing demands!

I have included 2 different styles of writing pages, to meet the needs of primary grades and upper grades. You can also use them to differentiate within your own class.

Use these materials to help your students form opinions, state reasons that support the opinion, and organize their writing into a meaningful structure.

You can use it throughout the year as students progress in their skills.

Happy Writing!
