The rubrics are 5 point. 1- Beginning, 2-Emerging, 3-Adequate, 4-Strong, 5-Exemplary. Some of these are accompanied with designated percentages, but some are left blank for teacher's discretion.
Two rubrics allow for the teacher to comment on strengths and weaknesses of the student's paper. The other option is for the student to note two strengths and highlight two weaknesses they would like to work on in the future. (Student driven)
