In these worksheets the students will have the chance to practice differentiating between statements that are factual and statements that are opinions. Here there are 3 kinds of worksheets: 1- circle the statements that are facts, underline the statements that are opinions; 2- cut and sort the statements into facts, opinions, and unsure; 3- Switch them up- turning fact statements into opinions and the other way around- turning opinion statements into fact statements.
This product can be used as a teaching tool, a literacy/writing center, a review, an assessment, or in any other way you see fit. The absence of distracting graphics and decorations are a purposeful design choice to prevent pulling focus away from the learning and task at hand.
