This Activity Contains:
140 Colored Cards – 20 Red, 20 Purple, 20 Blue, 20 Yellow, 20 Green, 20 Orange and 20 White cards. Each set of cards has the same 20 words/pictures with opposites.
Colorful Game Board for red, orange, purple, green and blue colors.
Laminate pages and cut out cards for games . Make as many copies of as many colors as you wish for opposite drill, or to play games. The cards may be used to play card games such as Matching, Memory, Go Fish, War (Cards are numbered 1 – 10 for War) Candy Land, Colorful Game Board (P. 21), etc.
You could give each child their own set of opposites and play war. Each child lays a card down, says the name of the card and it’s opposite. Whoever has the highest number gets the cards. . This give each child the opportunity to practice each set of opposites and improve math skills (more, less).
