Description
This worksheet is a graphic organizer for students observing speeches to help them be intentional in their viewing and assess the style and techniques used by the speaker. They need to fill out comments and observations in each of 4 areas:
- Content
- Body Language
- Voice
- Preparation
You can ask them to fill it out while watching a teacher-chosen example, such as f a famous speech or movie scene speech. Then get them to fill it out while listening to a friend preparing their speech before the big day, or they could film themselves and fill it out as self-reflection in preparation for their oral presentation assessment.
