Product Description
The following documents are rhythmic patterns I use to help in the development of the bow in my students. I created these worksheets for use in my middle school orchestra classroom for students in grades 6, 7, and 8. They can be practiced on a neutral note or a scale (as indicated in the worksheet). They have allowed me to focus on a specific rhythm with my students and have greatly improved my students technique and facility. They are great for use as a warm up when practicing scales in the first minutes of classroom instruction and to immediately get kids engaged. I have also used these rhythms and bowings as assessments.
